Note

At least two dates of death are cited for Peggy McKendrick - 1895 and 1877. I have been unable to verify her date of death as 1895. She was not in the 1881 or 1891 census, and I couldn't find a second marriage for her.

The date of Aug 19, 1877, and this seems more likely, although no proof has been found for either date.

There was a Mrs. McLean in Lot 13 in the 1861 census, a woman between the ages of 22-45. The household of 5 was Kirk of Scotland, and 2 members of the family were born in other provinces, and 3 on the Island.
