Ignatius likely died before 1870, when the widow Eliza McDonald married Daniel McDonald. Eliza, who never converted to the Catholic Church, had her 3 younger children baptized under her married name, Eliza McDonald, in 1870. (her second husband's name and the maiden name "Raynor" was added later by an unknown person.
