Son of John Dyment and Sarah Petherwick - brother of Humphrey, who settled on Prince Edward Island. John and his wife Elizabeth Jones and family emigrated to Ontario.

In his will, John left property to his wife Elizabeth. To each of my sons, John, Nathaniel, William, Henry and Philip $600.00. To son Charles, 25 acres of land. To son Peter, $300, To Thomas, land. To each of his daughters, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, and Sarah, $300.00. To Eliza and Ellen, $400.00.

John was in Ancaster. Ontario in 1851.
