A sad gloom was cast over Ellerslie on sunday morning December 16 when the angel of death visited the home of John C. Morrison and deprived it of a beloved wife and mother. although her death was not unexpected it comes as a sad blow to the family. she had been in failing health for some time past of cancer which she bore with Christian patience and resignation. She leaves to mourn a sorrowing husband, four sons and five daughters to mourn the loss.
