Barbara and Laughlin were in Nova Scotia with three children, John, Annie, and Mariah, in 1871. She said that she emigrated in 1881, and in 1888 married Henry Crouse from New Brunswick. Barbara said only one of her 3 children was living on the 1900 US census, and that was her daughter [Maria] Melvina.
