David, son of William Whitehead Jr. and Rebecca Power married Jane Johnstone, 1853-1925. David was a carpenter as well as a farmer. He died in 1912. They had the following family: Ida, John, Mildred, Bessie, Jennie, Cassie, Lila and a daughter who died in infancy.
