Eliza, age 22, was living with her parents in 1881.

Will of Charles Ramsay of Montrose lib 12 pg 328, 1889 mentioned son James Hunter; daughter Martha, wife of James Hardy; daughter Mary Jane, wife of George Hardy; daughter Jemima Eliza, and his wife Margaret.

She married Henry Matthews. At Riverdale Farm, Montrose, on the 20th ult by Rev George Fisher, Miss Lizzie Ramsay to Mr H. T. Matthews of Elmsdale, late of Nova Scotia. Examiner Friday December 19, 1884

Eliza said her mother was born in Scotland and her father on the Island in the 1891 census. Henry was a widower in the 1901 census.
