Henry Simmonds born February 20, 1834 England died Jan 27, 1902 Prince Edward Island Canada, married January 7, 1858 to Elizabeth Smith born abt. 1830 Prince Edward Island died January 26, 1893 they lived in Lot 2, Prince Edward Island, Canada. They had at least 7 children, including David James {or James David} Simmonds married to Lucy Louise Jane Stubbs.
Henry said he was born on the Island in 1881, but in England in 1891 and 1901 on census records. From 1881-1901, his son David was the head of household. They were farmers.
If there is a relationship between the three Simmonds from Lot 2, Thomas, Henry and William, I haven't been able to discover it. There was a couple, Thomas Simmonds (1799-1860) and his wife Elizabeth Janet Simmonds (1796-1889) in Christ Church Cemetery, Kildare.
