There was a marriage for a William Humphrey from Tarbolton, in Dreghorn in 1772, to Isabel Highgate. And a marriage of a William Humphrey to Agnes Dick in Tarbolton in 1783. Neither record gives the marital status of the bride or groom.

A William Humphry married Ann Boreland in 1795 in Tarbolton. They had daughters Agness (1796), baptized in Tarbolton, and daughters Hellen baptized in 1798 and Jean in 1800 in Monkton, son Robert in Monkton in 1802, and Sarah in Symington in 1807.

The William who married Ann Boreland couldn't be the same William who married Christian Telfor in 1801 in Tarbolton. Williams and Christian's children were not baptized in Tarbolton. But it seems possible that one William Humphrey married Isabel, Agnes and Ann.
