Catherine married William MacLean of Northam. Their son Roy F. (Iittle Roy), born in 1892, came to A.E. MacLean's Sunnybrae Farm to help his uncle and eventually took over the farm with the help of his wife, Beatrice MacCallum.. Roy F. and Beatrice's daughter, Sadie, married Victor Ramsay of Northam; together they operated Sunnybrae Farm. They had a family of six children: Carl, who died at an early age, Doris, Ivan, John (Jackie), Christine, and Mary Ellen.
