Note

Jessie was in the 1881 and 1891 census In 1897, in Lot 13, with her parents, Moses and Maria (Bryant) Dyment.

Jessie Diamond married Hammond Brown, son of William and Mary (Young). In the 1900 census, Jessie had been married for two years, and had one child, Violet. Her mother, Maria Diamond, was living with the family. In 1910 Amon Brown and Jessie had children Violet L. (11), Elsie M. (7), and Charles H. (3).

Jessie died 11 April 1914 in Danvers, Massachusetts of TB. Information on her death certificate was provided by Alice M. Brown of Massachusetts. Perhaps this was a sister in law - it seems unlikely it was her daughter Elsie, age 11.

In 1920, Hammond was working as a janitor in the Nickerson Home for Children in Boston. "Inmates" living in that institution were Charles, Harold and Elsie Brown.
