Mr A. E. MacLean MP received a telegram last night from Mrs Agnes Crosby, Kingston, ON with the news that his aunt, Mrs Jessie Strang had passed away.
Mrs Strang and her late husband conducted the Landsdown Hotel at Cape Traverse for a number of years. Later she lived with her son Brenton Strang, Bordon before leaving the province to reside with her daughter, Mrs Crosby. Mrs Strang is the last member of a large family of 12, being the daughter of Alex MacLean and Catherine Howatt of Southwest Lot 16. The nearest relatives in the Province are Mrs Agnes Linkletter, Northam; William J MacLean, Central Lot 16; A. E. Maclean, and Mrs Edgar Linkletter, Summerside. She leaves one son, Edgar and one daughter, Agnes.
