Note

Isabelle was born in Dumfries, Scotland, and came to this Island when she was about 12 years of age. She gave her year of birth as 1818 on the 1901 census.
In 1847, she married James Campbell, who predeceased her in 1883. Isabelle lived with her son James to the age of 90, and was survived by William of Graham’s Road; John in Long River; Archibald in Clifton; James Andrew at home, and Alexander in Summerside; and one daughter, Mrs. John A. McKay.

From Past and present of PEI: The father was born at Irish-town, Lot so, Prince Edward Island, in 1813, and died in 1887. He was the father of eight children, namely: William, Charity, John, Archibald, Alex, Caroline, MaryJ. and James A.
