The John McDougall living in Kent with his wife Isabella was the right age, and his father was born on the Island - however, his mother in Ireland. So perhaps this is not the right John.

John McDougall married Margaret Clyde in Blackville in 1855.

Tobique River (Victoria Co.) March 18 - John McDOUGALL of Riley Brook, died suddenly at Mr. FRASER's, Three Brooks, Saturday eve. 17th inst., leaving two daughters by his first wife, one of whom is married to William MILLER of Nictor. (Nictaux) The other was present at his death. Besides these, his second wife and three children survive him. He was troubled with asthma, complicated with pneumonia, and though he had been so far recovered as to be up on his feet, he took a sudden choking which terminated fatally. Funeral Tuesday at Riley Brook when Rev. J.R. Hopkins will officiate.
