Note
William gave an assortment of birth dates on census forms. There was a baptismal record for him in the Anglican church records, dated August 1851. He was not in the 1851 census (unless he was the son named Peter); age 16 in the 1861 census, and 20 in 1871. This makes me wonder if the son named Peter was William on later census records, and an "age 10" in 1861 was written down as "16".
William gave September 5 1849 on the 1901 census, and his son John supplied November 5 1851 on his death record.
In the 1921 census, William (69) and his wife Glorianna (70) were living in Blackville Parish with John and Jessie.
