My Family Tree

Archibald was single in the 1891 census.

He was living in Brookline, Massachusetts in 1900 with his wife Elizabeth and two sons. He had been married for 3 years, and was working as a labourer. Also with the family were Daniel (34) and Spurgeon Livingston (18), and a boarder Walter Gillis. Walter was perhaps the son of Barbara Livingston.

The family returned to the Island in 1907, and living with Archibald and his wife Elizabeth in the 1911 census were Spurgeon (July 1898), Orwil (September 1899), Addison (December 1900, Stewart (Nov. 1902), Sadie (Sept 1904), Mamie (1908), and Earle (June 1910).

When he died in 1930, he was survived by his wife, 5 sons and 3 daughters: Spurgeon of Clyde River; Dan and Stewart in Saskatchewan; Addison and Earl at home; Sadie and Mamie of Cambridge, Massachusetts; and Olive at home. Patriot newspaper, 31 December 1930
