Notes

Note

Thomas was the son of Thomas Dyment and Mary Matilda Moore. He emigrated with the family to Massachusetts.

In 1908, Miss Maude T. Hamner of Malden & Thomas Dyment of Boston were married in New Hampshire at the home of Eli Dyment, the groom's uncle. At the time of their marriage, Miss Hamner was working at the Massachusetts General Hospital, a trained nurse, and Thomas held a responsible position in Boston.

Thomas and Maude lived in Massachusetts (1910), Oregon (1920), and Washington (1930). There are no children listed in any of these census records. In 1940, they were still in Washington where they ran a restaurant. Maud was the cook. From her death notice in the Boston Globe, it looks like Maud returned to Massachusetts after Thomas' death.
