Note

Jack was the son of Thomas Dyment and Mary Matilda Moore. He emigrated with the family to the United States.

In 1910, Jack Dyment, born in Canada in 1874, was living with his brother in law Joseph Parker. Joseph's wife was Ethel, born in Canada in 1887. They were in Tacoma Ward 5, Pierce, Washington. Ethel and Charles had been married four years by 1910, and had had one child. Jack and Ethel both gave their date of emigration as 1896.
In the 1930 census, John Dyment (age 54) was married to Rose T (39 years) in Tacoma, Washington with children Florence J. (15), Jack C (13), and Kathleen (3).
On his naturalization forms, Jack was described as being 5'9", and gave his occupation as steamfitter. He had been born in PEI on 26? June 1974. He gave his date of arrival in the States as October 1891.

Jack died in 1936 in Washington State. On his death certificate, his parents' names were Thomas Dyment and Mary M. Moore.
